Sorry guys I've gotta cancel the Christmas party on christmas night because the only time I can see my dad is during the evening. Also, it seems many other people are preoccupied as well with relatives and whatnot so I'm going to reschedule the party for some time in January when everyone (including myself) is not busy. Hello guys - just wanted to let everyone know that I've decided to have a gathering at my place on Christmas night and everyone who can read this is most certainly invited! Rocky 6! comes out that night so I'm thinking maybe we can all go out and catch the movie then head back to my place for some drinks and shenanigans! You're all welcome to come on over: The Jakels, Mike, Lara and Kylo, John, Jason and Misty, etc. and you're welcome to invite your friends as well. I've got a Wii/360/PS2 for electronic excitement; we'll get some cards goin and some boozin'! Let me know if you're interested in attending so that I can plan accordingly! If everyone could bring a snackin dish too that'd be awesome for supplying our bellies with delicious num nums! Let me know what you plan on bringing so we don't have 6 plates of sugar cookies (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Today I had an interview for the Computer Networking Work Study at school. I was nervous.

Interview went well (I think). I will find out tomorrow afternoon if I get the job or not. There's like 6 or 7 people who applied for it so I'm not banking on getting it, but I like to think there's a good chance I might get it. If I do, this little shindig will look good on the ole resume. Anything that sets me apart from my classmates and betters my chance out of school helps.

I'm thinking about applying to two men and a truck and working with keenan there on days that I'm not at my work study. If I do apply, though, it'll prolly be in about a month. Why? I just got a gym membership and I want to condition myself for that kind of a job before going into it. If all works well, between the work study and two men and a truck I should be able to manage, though I'd be making less money then if I was working at meijer. But I'm sick and tired of the bullshit at meijer. They started these 10 hour shifts, so I'm going in at 11AM and work ends at 9:30PM. Whole day is gone. On top of that, though, is the fact that we're forced to stay overtime. And not just a half hour. We're talking 4-5 EXTRA HOURS on some nights!! Go in at 11AM and don't get finished until 1,2, sometimes as late as 3 in the morning. The work conditions just keep getting worse and worse and I'm about fed up with it.

Fuck Meijer, damn Wal-Mart wannabe.

Lots been happening with "da C" so I figure I am due to update the folks on my "status". I just had foot surgery on an infected ingrown toenail (resulting from a work injury way back in March) that was giving me some trouble! Ingrown toenails SUCK! Just to give you kind of an idea of what my foot was looking like before the operation, here's a pic i found off of the internet!




Yeah not pretty! Mine wasn't THIS BAD but it was close. The problem is that I was uninsured which makes medical bills SHITTY! But the constant pain while wearing shoes and having to pop aspirin just to get through a workday was getting old. So I said fuck it and got the thing taken care of. Went to a guy here in Wyoming named Dr. Koschtial, a podiatrist! He fixed me up real good and we chatted during the procedure. I had made mention that I was uninsured while he was working on it and he hooked me up with a great deal. Walked out of there paying only $200 bucks for everything and he even hooked me up with a free prescription for antibiotic that I needed. He is my new hero! It would have otherwise cost me in excess of $500 for all the shit. I was very happy to say the least. I worked today and my toe feels GREAT!

I had a Wedge resection performed on both sides of my left big toe. I was injected with a local anaesthetic 3 times near the base of my big toe to numb it. He began to cut my nail, and I CRIED IN PAIN!!!... not enough anaesthetic! Fuck was I in pain until he injected 2 more shots! Then I was good. The procedure took about 30 minutes. The anaesthetic lasted for 7 hours afterwards and wore off when I was in school. I left early that night to go home, take some aspirin and change the gauze around my toe. I am doing well today! A burden has been lifted!!


Anyways, other important shit happening with me, I am studying arduously for preparation of my first Computer Certification test, the A+ certification test through CompTIA. If I pass, I will be a CCCT! (CompTIA Certified Computer Technician!). It tests overall knowledge of Computer Hardware and Operating System knowledge. The test will cost anywhere from $225-250 just to take, so I can't afford to fail it! Wish me luck!

Fuck writing papers! I hate it with en el passiono de tortuga de lechuga. Ten stupid weeks of stupid papers left >:(

Fuckin exam time. I finished my first exam already and am on my Calculus exam which is online and I have a 2 hour time limit to complete. I have just sat doing review for 5 hours and I am still not even 1/4 of the way through it. I have all weekend to study and plan to take the exam Sunday evening. But damn my brain is fried and is going to be over the next 48 hours. Oh and then I have my damn Programming exam i have to study for which is on Tuesday :(

Yes, i signed more papers at financial aid and am now up to 30K of school debt!
